When is trick-or-treating in Central Florida?

Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, 2026. Some towns set official hours; where they do not, families typically head out between 6-7 PM, with some starting as early as 5 PM.

Are trunk-or-treat events free?

Most community and police-hosted events in this guide are free, but not all: theme-park events like LEGOLAND Brick-or-Treat require admission, a few charge a fee, and some ask for RSVP. Confirm with the host.

Trunk-or-treat or neighborhood trick-or-treating?

Both are great. Trunk-or-treats offer a controlled, well-lit, often car-free space; neighborhood hours vary by town, so check your city’s page or HOA notice.

What if events get rained out?

Some move indoors or reschedule. Confirm with the host or the city’s page when the forecast looks uncertain.
